Dr. Amir Mortazavi
MD — Newport Beach, CADr. Mortazavi is a California-licensed physician and the founder of Plump Medical Spa. He trained in advanced aesthetics through the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery (AAAMS) and completed additional studies in Skin Care & Repair at Harvard Medical School. His clinical background includes Internal Medicine in New York City and Pain Medicine at USC Keck School of Medicine. He holds a BS from UC San Diego, an MD from Saba University School of Medicine, and an MBA in healthcare management.
At most medical spas, the physician designs the treatment plan and a nurse performs the injection. At Plump, that never happens. Dr. Mortazavi performs every treatment personally — from the first consultation to the final result. His subspecialty focus in ultrasound-guided filler dissolving and Myobloc for Botox resistance has made Plump a destination for patients who have been told their concerns cannot be corrected elsewhere.
