Non-surgical gluteal augmentation using Sculptra. Performed personally by Dr. Amir Mortazavi, MD.

Sculptra is poly-L-lactic acid. Placed subcutaneously across the buttocks, it stimulates your own collagen production over the following months. The product itself is absorbed — the tissue your body builds is what produces the volume and lift.

That's why the result reads as your body rather than as something added. Nothing appears overnight; the shape develops gradually enough that it doesn't announce itself.

Treats: flat or under-projected gluteal contour · loss of volume after weight loss · sagging or deflated shape · asymmetry between sides · skin laxity and crepey texture over the buttocks

For hip dips specifically — the lateral depressions between hip and thigh — see Sculptra hip dip correction. Many patients treat both, and they're assessed together at consultation.

This is not a surgical BBL, and the difference is substantial.

A surgical Brazilian butt lift transfers your own fat and produces considerably more volume in one procedure. It also involves liposuction, general anesthesia, weeks of recovery, and — for fat transfer to the buttocks specifically — a risk profile that has drawn significant attention in the surgical literature.

Sculptra produces moderate improvement in shape, projection, and skin quality — not a dramatic size increase. No surgery, no anesthesia, no downtime.

If you want a major volume change, see a plastic surgeon. Dr. Mortazavi will tell you that at consultation rather than treating you toward a result this can't deliver.

Sculptra or Radiesse?

Sculptra gives essentially no immediate volume — purely gradual collagen building over months. The most natural progression, and generally longer-lasting.

Radiesse provides some immediate volume from its gel carrier alongside collagen stimulation. Better if you want visible change from the first session.

Neither can be dissolved. The choice is made at consultation.

Expect this to take months, and expect a series. Multiple sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, with collagen building over three to six months after each. You will see very little at four weeks. Patients who judge it then consistently conclude it failed, when what actually happened is they looked too early.

Vial count is determined at consultation — based on your starting volume, frame, and goal. The options here reflect typical ranges. Buying more vials does not produce a proportionally better result.

Sculptra cannot be dissolved. At body volumes this large, placement plane and depth are the entire treatment, and there's no correcting an error afterward. This is not delegated.

What to expect: 60 to 90 minutes. Swelling and tenderness for several days; bruising is common. Avoid prolonged sitting and intense lower-body training for about a week. Duration is typically two years or longer.

Consultation required before booking.
